The unique local ambiance of the Gulf Coast creates a wonderful timeshare resale opportunity. The Quarter House is not only architecturally compatible with the historic French Quarter but sits on land developed in the 1700’s and has timeshare resale weeks at remarkable prices. Chateau Orleans has similar amenities but at a slightly higher price perhaps but that always depends on the week. Wyndham New Orleans timeshares are tourist oriented. Club La Pension has its charm too as does Plaza Suite hotel resort near Harrah’s Casino. There are limited timeshares available in the French Quarter but in the surrounding area many more are on the market. Boomtown Casino New Orleans, Louisiana is just one of the newer reasons to visit old New Orleans. The three story riverboat casino offers traditional gaming along with the nostalgia of  South Louisiana’s waterway history.  The nearby Superdome with its post Katrina renovations provides concerts and national sports events. Classic New Orleans jazz and dining entertain the Cajun way with that unmistakable bayou flair.

Prices in the New Orleans timeshare market really aren’t any worse than most well known tourist towns or ocean front resorts. Quality of  these fractional residences  varies a bit as some are older than others. Most resorts in other destinations tend to be new built but those in this trendy but very historic city are sometimes located in restored buildings. The architecture of New Orleans does offer somewhat of an eclectic choice to say the least. Most units are one or two bedrooms and are not on average as spacious in many less crowded cities. But considering that many  cities are not heavily laden with timeshare options New Orleans actually has an excellent selection for an urban setting. Most of these do not offer the indoor water parks and expansive swimming pools or spa areas that would be found at resorts. The local attractions make up for this shortfall however.
