Sunset Beach, N C time share resales are a topic of much interest this time of year. Obviously with the popularity of golf in the area Sunset Beach, NC time share resorts are a year around destination. But as the weather warms there is increased interest in the charms of all beaches but the Carolinas in particular.
Safely tucked away from potential inclement weather during hurricane season, Sunset Beach lies west of the Atlantic Intercostal Waterway. About a mile and a half from the Atlantic Beaches there is very little threat from either high winds or the traffic jams caused when people try to avoid them. The area is in a very calm weather pattern most of the time at any rate.
The appeal of North Carolina over former favorite destinations such as Florida are subtle. For most northern tourists this is a much closer drive or cheaper air fare. Compare locations and amenities of individual timeshares but also consider incidental expenses. For instance a resident of the North East may find a great price on a terrific Napa Valley time share resale. But the airfare will be roughly four times as much as the airfare to Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head or Sunset Beach time shares. A person would really have to love wine to pay that much difference in airfare to seek out a time share resale in wine country.
Similarly, airfare to Florida is higher but many would simply drive. The cost of gasoline is by far the most difficult cost in that case. But you might also need to pay for an additional night’s stay on the way there and back since this is a pretty long trip. It’s roughly 1500 miles from Maine to Orlando, Florida and 1100 miles from Maine to Sunset Beach, North Carolina. Either way there’s going to be an extra night’s stay in transit both ways unless two driver’s share the burden.
In this example the difference will probably be two tanks full of gasoline. That’s only $100 to $150 if you are lucky. Still it’s something to consider.
