Timeshares for sale in the Berkshires of Massachusetts area are a mixed bag of literary, art and music attractions but are by all means culturally endowed. Time share resorts like Vacation Village at the Berkshires, Sandcastle Condominiums, Silverleaf’s Oak N’ Spruce, and Courtyard Resort dot the landscape near Agawam, Massachusetts. Take a look at these at www.buyatimeshare.com for details.

Agawam, Massachusetts may not be a household name to many people but for those seeking an amusement park vacation during the hottest months it’s a very cool choice. It is, of course, a small town on the southern border of Massachusetts and twenty miles north of Hartford, Connecticut. It’s importance to vacationing children is that it is home to one of the Six Flags Amusement Parks.

Timeshares for sale throughout the Berkshire Mountain region of Massachusetts offer easy access to numerous recreation opportunities. Nearby museums (most notably Norman Rockwell’s), a world renowned music festival at Tanglewood and famous estates (Edith Wharton & Nathaniel Hawthorne) share billing with natural resources and Six Flags Amusement Park.

Visitors  to Six Flags of New England will be pleased to find that this park is historic like everything else in the area. Though it joined the Six Flags family in 2000 it first opened in 1840 as Riverside Amusement Park. It boasts ten roller coasters the oldest of which is wooden and built in 1941 while the newest, The Dark Knight, is a steel new-built  one opening in 2008. Check out all of the chain’s offerings at www.sixflags.com since April is the start of roller coaster season.

Timeshares for sale anywhere in western Massachusetts will bring vacationers within a few hours’ drive of Six Flags. As luck would have it this is less than 40 miles from the Berkshire mountains’ concert venue at Tanglewood. Music fans will find all their Tanglewood questions answered at www.tanglewood.org  so there’s no excuse not to attend. This outdoor summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra is reasonably priced and a popular favorite. There is in fact an eleven ticket Lawn Pass Book available for under $200. There’s more than classical concerts at this venue though, so it helps to plan ahead for the best shows of the season.
