Time share companies aren’t all the same. Resorts Condominiums International (RCI) is one of the largest time share companies around. A huge membership has helped to establish one of the company’s most outstanding features: trading weeks.

This company has many timeshare owners around the world who will want to trade their oldie but goodie type of timeshare. There’s always going to be somewhere you’d like to go that you can trade your time share for. RCI lists all-inclusive resorts as well as cruises making its list of available vacation options very encompassing.

Just consider the all-inclusives that operate in tropical beach environments like Jamaica and Mexico. These resorts might include amenities such as: beach shuttles, choice of on-site recreations, various restaurant and lounge choices as well as spacious accommodations.  This option may not be suitable for families though and individuals really need to read the fine print to see what is really offered.

Many of these are a great value though. Golf included all-inclusives can nearly pay for the resort stay in free greens fees. If this is one of the things that you need from a vacation; this is worth considering. Before choosing one of these sit down and itemize the recreation, dining and accommodation choices that you are likely to make. If these add up to the price of an all-inclusive resort or even higher-then this is your best value.

Others may take serious stock of their vacation needs and find that an Adirondack chair, a good book and a tube of sun screen are about all they really need. This may the person who would benefit from other types of timeshare. Perhaps a fractional deed on a Whistler lodge type, cabin or luxury condominium would be a sensible investment for just such an individual.

Different people see recreation and relaxation differently. No one should leave vacation planning to the last minute though. Spontaneous drives into the sunset are disastrous at peak season which is becoming a longer period of time every year. Joining a vacation club or buying a fractional deed timeshare ensures that no vacation will ever be spent in an interstate rest stop because the hotels are all booked.
