This is an area that serves as a close vacation destination for residents of Milwaukee and other great lakes towns. Year around attractions dot the surrounding areas despite the name though. And, for that matter, those living in overly warm climates may find the cooler summers of Wisconsin to be a big drawing card. Rocky Arbor is just one and a half miles away from the Dells so the vacationer to the area doesn’t have to travel far from their time share for the water sports, hiking or cross-country skiing that make for more relaxing entertainment for all ages.
The Dells aren’t without natural beauty though since the Cambrian sandstone formations so characteristic of the area are a principal tourist attraction. Most people from out of state though will want to look into the shops which offer local favorites from dairy country namely: cheese.
Time shares are an eclectic collection in this Midwestern vacationland. Cabins are fine and available but there are nicer and consequently more expensive time share options for those who have a taste for the finer things in life. Do your research and plan ahead for the best results from any destination but especially during peak season in this and other popular locations.
