Time shares on Alabama’s Gulf Coast offer the amenities of better known coastal locations with somewhat less traffic. The short Alabama Coast is divided into two main beaches: Orange and Gulf Shore with a 6,000 acre State park separating them. Water is water but sometimes sand varies. These beaches have top quality white sand which reflect sunny blue skies and surf better than any other kind can possibly do.
Bon Secour National Wildlife refuge in Gulf Shores is a 6,200 acre sanctuary for birds, sea turtles (nesting grounds) and other animals found in this and other Gulf Coast States. Mobile, Alabama is the closest large city but the Gulf Coast National Seashore is reasonably close to many other major cities like Biloxi and New Orleans.
Time shares here make a great home base for regional explorations. When the small beach town environments here seem a little too quiet it may be time to hop in the car and make the three-and-one-third hour drive to Bourbon Street, New Orleans. The world famous night life and Harrah’s Casino make an exciting couple of days side trip.
The unrivaled beauty of both natural and man made structures including sand dunes, piers and pavilions in this region is reason enough to choose Alabama’s Gulf Coast for time share purchases. Recreational opportunities abound including Waterville, USA in Gulf Shores as well as many other vacation destinations. Golfing is one of the attractions to many coastal locations these days and Alabama’s Barrier Island has at least half a dozen courses. Among these is one at Gulf Shores State Park Golf Course.
Speed boat races, tennis, camping, deep sea fishing from charter boats and strolls on the board walk are among the full list of coastal activities awaiting those who purchase time shares on Alabama’s Gulf Coast. Few places offer time share resorts with so much to offer at such low prices. Alabama’s coastal communities are secret get-away locations with something for everyone.
